Maria Paula Suarez is a Colombian-born, NYC-based artist whose work explores themes of love and psychology, primarily through embroidery on paper and colored pencils. Her pieces have been exhibited internationally, establishing her as an emerging talent in both Latin America and the United States. She has presented her work at prominent art fairs such as ARTBO in Bogotá, Art on Paper in New York, and TOAF in Chicago.

Drawing on years of psychological research into human emotions and the psyche, Suarez's art delves into the transformative power of love, uncovering the uncanny ways it shapes us. "When you describe how you feel, you give someone a map of the things you care about. With my art, I aim to spark uncomfortable conversations about everyday emotions and shed light on the beauty of feeling them all. Life is about balance and transformation," she reflects.
